While exploring, geologist Lin Zhiyuan discovers a star chart carved into Cambrian rock. Touching it lets him see a floating city of jade, bridges woven from glowing vines, and otherworldly wonders that turn waterfalls into mist. Beyond the doorway lies an unknown world with a hundred times Earth’s resources, where an intelligent species known as the Lingyi is still in its infancy.
His first reaction is not to cry out in amazement, but to calmly report what he found.
Seven days later, in a top-secret conference room, he faces a choice: “Dr. Lin, are you willing to open up a future for the Chinese people?”
