Zhoukou Boy and the Wind in Heyuan

The high-ranking official is a junior high school dropout from Zhoukou who is so poor that he can't even pay his tuition. With passion and the legend from fellow villagers that "Guangdong is full of gold", he boarded the train going south and came to Heyuan, Guangdong - a small town that is hard to find even on the map. But reality slapped him hard: there was no gold, only sweat; no opportunities, only survival. He worked as a bricklayer at a construction site, washed dishes in a restaurant, did odd jobs, and collected scraps. His boss deducted his wages and spent the winter in a rental house eating cold steamed buns. But he didn't accept his fate. He climbed up from the bottom step by step, relying on his determination not to admit defeat, and also relying on the mutual support of several strangers who were also struggling. I have been brilliant, I have also been down, and I have stood up again after falling down again and again - not to get rich, but to tell the self who once had low self-esteem: I can also live as a light in the eyes of others.
