Beast Taming: The Good-for-Nothings Give Up, but They Beg Me to Be Chief

Chen Qi, a national-level animal doctor, transmigrates into a world of beast taming as a good-for-nothing child unable to tame beasts on a remote planet. Unable to tame beasts, she is treated like garbage. Then the school bully picks on the kitten she took in, and she can’t help letting loose a string of obscenities, including the mother of all curses. The whole school erupts: “Did you hear? Chen Qi swore in beast language, and the B-rank spirit beast in front of her was so scared it wet itself!” From then on, the students at Xingyao Beast-Taming Academy have a miserable time. Good-for-nothing Chen Qi kicks the school bully and beats up spirit beasts. Then comes the high school entrance exam. The students at Xingyao Beast-Taming Academy finally get cocky. “Heh, you’ve had your fun! You can’t even tame beasts, you good-for-nothing. There’s no way you’ll get into high school! What are you going to do now?” But who could have guessed? Chen Qi, who couldn’t tame beasts, became the only person at Xingyao Academy to get into one of the six top beast-taming academies. Everyone at Xingyao Academy is dumbfounded. “People who can’t tame beasts can get into top schools these days?” “Did you hear? Darwin Division Beast-Taming Academy admitted a C-rank beast tamer this year!” “Does our academy let just any Tom, Dick, and Harry in now?” “I heard she only just awakened her mental domain, too! Before this, she had neither perception nor spirit energy!” “No way! We’re reporting her!” “Report her! Trash!” Chen Qi has no time to worry about any of that. She realizes she may have awakened perception in the command track! Then, during a live broadcast of the beast-taming tournament, the harsh climate injures every competing spirit beast, and all the healing-type beast tamers run out of spirit energy. Everyone assumes the six military academies will be completely wiped out, but the spirit beasts from Darwin Division Beast-Taming Academy are healed by someone! That someone is good-for-nothing Chen Qi! And later, that good-for-nothing becomes the top student??
