After Huo Yuhao became the God of Emotion and rose to the rank of one of the Twelve God-Kings, he devoted himself to tireless cultivation every day. In time, the God of Time took an interest in him, and Huo Yuhao inherited his divine position. But after the inheritance, the beads within Huo Yuhao that represented the seven emotions and six desires began to crack one by one. Before seven years had passed, they had all shattered, and his seven soul spirits had left his spiritual sea to become independent deities. They remembered all the kindness Huo Yuhao had shown them. Though they wanted to help him, they had no idea what to do.
One day, the God of Creation found Huo Yuhao and gave him a mission. While wandering the universe, he had discovered two damaged souls that needed to go to Douluo Star to restore their original power. Huo Yuhao looked at the two beads, one bright and one dark. In the end, he asked no questions and promised the God of Creation that he would complete the mission.
The God of Creation nodded with satisfaction and suggested that Huo Yuhao take the two souls back to his own era. His future might change as a result, but after giving it some thought, Huo Yuhao declared that he would press on no matter whether the road ahead led through a mountain of blades or a sea of fire. The God of Creation laughed heartily, saying that Space-Time had been right about him all those years ago. Then he vanished amid his laughter.
