Xu Ruan, a cultural relic restorer, has a unique family skill that is about to be lost: he can "watch the energy" and see through the life and death line of a civilization.
When he took over a copy of "Einstein's Top Secret Manuscript" snatched by the Japanese army, what he saw was not a formula, but a cosmic wanted order - the wanted targets were all humans in "Proving Ground No. 98".
The truth pointed to by the manuscript caused Xu Ruan's world to completely collapse:
• Oxygen is poison, a three-dimensional cage that locks human lifespan.
• History is a script, from the extinction of the dinosaur era to the burning of books and humiliation of scholars to the world wars, they are all regularly pruned by "farmers".
• Qin Shihuang was the only defector - the books he burned were breeding manuals; the mausoleum he built was an interstellar battleship launch silo.
When the harvest alarm on the far side of the moon sounded again and the world fell into panic, Xu Ruan became the only person who could understand the "escape instructions".
He faces two choices:
1. Accept Nuwa's "Captivity Agreement" in exchange for a permanent greenhouse of human civilization.
2. Risk everything to awaken the ultimate rebellion buried under the dragon veins of the First Emperor - the "Interstellar Qin Army" that has been dormant for two thousand years.
Xu Ruan chose the third path.
He wanted to use the First Emperor's sword to cut off Nuwa's chains; he wanted to use Fuxi's hexagram to figure out... His own way of life for mankind.
"They thought they were feeding civilization."
"And I want to show them what it means to be a 'traitor of civilization'."
