Lin Chen, an orphan in the twenty-first century, learns that he has cancer. His spirits sink day and night, and he spends his days drowning his sorrows in alcohol. By chance, he transmigrates to Uncle Jiu’s world and takes over the body of Uncle Jiu’s third disciple, whom he had adopted as a child. The disciple died after pushing his cultivation too far, just as Lin Chen transmigrated into him. Awakening a powerful monster-slaying System, he leads Uncle Jiu onto the path to becoming a Celestial Master.
