Adrian, codename “Night Watcher,” is the Order’s Blade’s top assassin and an extreme case of obsessive-compulsive disorder. His daily routine: turning murders into precise works of art, stopping his partner from sneaking bites of the poisoned cake meant for a mission, and writing assassination reports in academic-paper format.
Ryan, codename “Echo,” is his legal spouse and partner, as well as a genius at improvisational crime. His hobbies include drawing insulting cartoons on targets’ cars, submitting mission reports written as sonnets, and mistaking antidote for strawberry jam and spreading it on toast.
Their daily work life is fulfilling:
Morning: accept a job, complete with a four-page “Code of Conduct for Assassinations.”
Noon: scout the location and, while they’re at it, argue over where to eat lunch.
Evening: kill someone and clean up the blood, along with Ryan’s “artistic creations.”
Late night: write the report. Ryan adds the dramatic flourishes, while Adrian cuts it back to the required format.

I quite like the setting of this novel, and overall it's very interesting. In summary, it talks about the daily life and tedious little things of the two killers outside of their missions.
