After an ordinary young man from the city, Jian Yichen, becomes involved in paranormal cases by accident, he goes from avoiding them to actively investigating them, gradually assembling a paranormal special-ops team. Together, they clash with all kinds of ghosts, monsters, and a mysterious organization known as the Netherworld Society.
