Holding You Close in the Snowbound Depths of Winter

[Both Each Other’s First Love + Devoted to Each Other + Two Top Students + Happy Ending + Feisty Girl × Cunning, Sweet-Talking Boy (Boyfriend Material) + Bickering Couple + Sunny and Outgoing]

A boy born and raised in Northeast China first met Liang Chen in the depths of winter. He thought a soft-spoken girl from Jiangnan would surely be gentle, sweet, and adorable, and decided to tease her. They were desk mates by day, neighbors by night, and on weekends they were teacher and student, as well as chef and diner. He always thought of Liang Chen as sunny, lively, gentle, and a little sharp-tongued, until one cold winter night in an icy alley, he saw the “sweet girl” punch a thug to the ground with his own eyes. The cocky boy laughed without a care and whistled boldly. He had read her all wrong, but she had gotten into his heart...

Young love is always careful and restrained, yet impossible to hold back.

That winter day, Liang Chen smiled and teased him, her gaze unwavering. “Shi Song, you like me.”

Shi Song: “Quick, quick, tell the VIP at the eye clinic their biggest patient has recovered.”

The night after exams, when the party was over, the girl stood on her skateboard and looked at Shi Song. “I haven’t asked how your exams went.”

Shi Song: “Pretty well. First place isn’t mine anymore, but second place is definitely mine.”

Liang Chen chuckled. “That second place is definitely mine.”

Shi Song: “You have so little faith in yourself?”

The girl gave him a meaningful smile. “Let’s go to Guangyang together! I mean, we!”

Shi Song replied, “Sure! Let’s go to Guangyang together!”
