Bored in the Lower Realm, the Five Great Halls Have Gone to the Mortal World to Catch Ghosts Again

She is the ruler of the Netherworld's Fifth Palace, an ancient phoenix reborn from the ashes.

Every five hundred years, she forgets her mortal ties. She does not follow the laws of Heaven, judging each case by her own heart.

She guides lonely souls, pacifies vengeful ghosts, and nourishes spirit trees with baleful energy.

At her side is a man whose origins remain unknown.

The world knows only of her compassion and indulgence,

but not that the Netherworld never grants anything for free,

nor that the man who has accompanied her for a thousand years

holds a forgotten chapter from her past.
