The Jianghu Coffee House

The story of a young man: a long wuxia novel set in 2026. The protagonist is a young man born in the 2000s, struggling with anxiety about his looks and uncertainty about his future. His family runs a coffee shop, and he travels far and wide with a mobile coffee truck. He grows up in the wuxia world, facing livestreaming, internet celebrity culture, investment and money management, relationships, and work. One year brings more change than all the years before it. First, the wuxia world of 2026 needs to be established, blending the jianghu with the modern world: there are both martial arts sects and livestreams and internet celebrity businesses. The economy is in an overall downturn, and industries across the jianghu are also in decline, reflecting the larger backdrop.
