In Nanjing in 1940, in the early days of the establishment of the Wang Puppet regime, a three-party game between the Japanese army, military commanders, and the underground party of the Chinese Communist Party occurred. A Japanese "special operations plan" (codenamed "Viper") disappeared. The three parties were looking for it, but no one knew what the plan was.
