When I Look Back on That Year, I'm Glad You Were Still There

That year was the most wretched, most miserable year of my life. Looking at you, bright as the sun, I held back. I wanted to get closer, but I didn't dare, and in the end, all I could do was turn away in silence. I never expected that years later, you'd still be here. When I looked back, I was so glad you were still here.
