Naruto: The Trash God of the Naka River

"Evil god? No! A great deity!"

Eight-year-old Hui declared this to the two boys who had fished her out of the river.

Madara Uchiha crossed his arms and snorted, while Hashirama Senju scratched his head and laughed foolishly.

"In return for your sincere offerings..." She waved the three-colored dango in her hand. "This deity will reluctantly be your friend!"

This is a story about getting lost.

A newly born deity, unfamiliar with how to use the interdimensional passage, plunged headfirst into the Naka River during the Warring States period.

When she woke, two wary young ninja were standing before her. In her original world, people settled conflicts with laughter, but in this world, people did not come back to life after dying. Smiles here came at a price, and farewells... might be forever.

The story that began at the Naka River continues with every smile.

This is the story of a deity who got lost, was found, was loved, and eventually found a place to belong.

It's the story of everyone finally finding laughter and reunion after wounds and loss.

"I..."

"I love it here the most."

"I love all of you the most."
