The world is a giant petri dish and I am the ultimate bug in the system that cannot be deleted.
After time travel, I became the carrier of the "compiler organ" left behind by previous civilizations, which can directly rewrite the underlying code of the world. But every time you use this divine power, you have to permanently pay a part of your humanity: taste, memory, fear and even self-awareness are being erased.
I soon discovered that this world being devoured by "rust" is a cosmic laboratory of advanced civilization. "Rust" is a scheduled cleaning process, and all civilizations are experimental samples that are regularly formatted.
My presence caused a system error.
I became the "pathological variant" hunted by the system wipers, and the "key" spied on by unspeakable beings outside the laboratory. In a suspended giant city with strict rules, I must hack into the system before humanity completely disappears, and fight for the right to survive for our civilization.
The time has entered the countdown and cleaning is about to be completed.
