Just Reported for Duty: From the Start, I Get a Disassembled Body Case?

[No romance] [Not a power fantasy, no showing off]

[Plot twists] [Everyday life] [Lots of cases]

Ten years ago, at his parents’ funeral, they were killed in an “accidental explosion.”

Eleven-year-old Zhou Yan knelt before their black-and-white portraits and said just one thing:

I don’t believe it.

Ten years later, he graduates at the top of his police academy class. On his very first day reporting to the Jiangcheng Criminal Investigation Division, Zhou Yan runs into a dismemberment case.

A young woman has been missing for three days. Her body parts turn up in a park. The killer is a professional, and even dares to taunt the police with a letter.

“Her flesh was even more tender than Wagyu.”

“The next one is already on the way.”

While the veteran detective is still searching for clues, Zhou Yan has already identified the key evidence!

Thirteen decomposing female corpses? A vampire murder case…

The clues in these cases seem to lead back to the unsolved case from ten years ago.

He pieces together the evidence and reasons things out with rigorous logic, identifying suspects at scenes with no leads. He tears through the layers of darkness and searches for the mastermind, drawing ever closer to the truth behind the case from ten years ago!
