My name is Chen Xiaojian, but people call me Xiao Jian. After a high fever during puberty, I developed a power I can hardly talk about: my dreams feel terrifyingly real, and... what happens in them always comes true in the real world. From then on, I became an unconventional hero of the night. In my dreams, I helped a battered young wife gather evidence, recovered the savings of a girl who had been scammed, and even stumbled upon the dreams where a murderer was hiding. By day, I’m a simple, honest rebar worker on a construction site. By night, I’m the “eye of justice,” traversing other people’s subconscious minds. Then I get caught up in a bizarre series of disappearances and discover that, deep in everyone’s dreams, they all point to the same mysterious totem... My dreams are starting to slip out of my control...
