Qinghe, a South Vietnamese maid, witnessed her master Shangguan Wanyue being tortured to death by the Northern King Murong Lie, and she endured the humiliation with revenge. She dealt with Marshal Jingchuan of the Northern Qi Dynasty, old friend Xiao Ce and others, using her power and wisdom to stir up the court of the Northern Qi Dynasty, helping Jingchuan eliminate enemies and protect the people. In the end, she ascended the throne as the Empress of Dahe and promoted the integration of the north and the south. In her later years, she retired to the West Lake and ended up among ten miles of lotus flowers. She spent her life writing a legend of revenge and redemption.
