In order to pay off the huge debt left by her father, Jiang Mian (the heroine) became a high-paying all-round nanny. She accepted a "special" order: her employer, Lu Xingzhi (male protagonist), was a "single poor dad" with a five-year-old son. He lived in an old house borrowed by a friend and seemed to be idle.
Jiang Mian felt pity and used her special skills: from bargaining at the market to mending old clothes, she taught this "down-and-out young master" step by step how to live, and even stepped forward when the male protagonist was being made things difficult by his "creditor" (actually a subordinate).
Lu Xingzhi originally kept his name anonymous to avoid family feuds and protect his son, but he was attracted by this nanny who was careless and extremely defensive.
As the plot progresses, Jiang Mian discovers that the "counterfeit goods" in her employer's house are all genuine antiques, and that the "poor relative" who always takes advantage of him is actually a real estate tycoon. When Jiang Mian was humiliated by her former creditor, Lu Xingzhi tore off his disguise and exposed his net worth of hundreds of billions, shocking the whole city. The second half of the story revolves around the emotional pull after the identity is revealed, the fight between wealthy families, and the two working together to abuse the scum.
