The roaring steam of Bombedel is extraordinary and hidden under the gears. Edmund Blake, a foreign soul who took on the identity of the deceased and struggled to survive in the Bureau of Abnormal Affairs Mediation, was the "bystander" of Sequence 9.
The only inheritance he inherited was: a cold ring connected to the mysterious space "Between Echoes", a notebook with most of it mysteriously erased, and a deadly mystery pointing to the forbidden place "Calderon Subsidence Zone". Sky-high bills and pursuits by the "Proofreaders' Council" followed one after another.
In order to survive, he was forced to set foot in the gray salons in the dark alleys of the dock area, appraising antiquities for mysterious collectors in exchange for the silver Seti that he relied on to survive. The promotion knowledge in his mind points to rituals and materials that are out of reach. On the other side of the ring, the twenty-two marks in "Between Echoes" whispered, and the unknown existence cast a scrutinizing gaze.
Gears bite into fate, steam blurs reality. In this country where the mundane and the mysterious intertwine, he must move forward cautiously amid the calculations of copper pennies and the gaze of high-ranking beings. Every time you "watch", you may get a glimpse of taboos; every time you "record", you may be writing an epitaph for yourself.

Well, I probably have to give myself a five-star (๑òᆺó๑)
I'm really sorry that the early chapters weren't written well enough! I was so anxious at the time that I started writing many settings without thinking clearly about them. Now I am carefully revising and supplementing it every day to make the story more exciting. But the previous content is like spilled water. If you want to change it, you have to start it all over again. The amount of work is too big... Please forgive me for the shortcomings in the early stage. I promise that I will write better and better in the future. I didn't think about the combat power in the front, and there were a lot of over-the-top settings. Then the plot was also very boring. I don't know if you understand it. It's not very good anyway. There was too little life breath, and it felt very fake and dry. I re-wrote the rest and hope to write a real world. If you can't stand it, you can skip it.
