I’m a customer service supervisor, and my specialty is finding loopholes in complicated terms and conditions.
Then, to save my family, I voluntarily signed a contract called New World.
They said it could grant any wish, but they never said the game world was reality.
Overnight, the rules of the world changed beyond recognition.
The company handbook concealed deadly traps, ghost stories surfaced on the midnight subway, and neon signs on street corners flashed commands from beyond this world.
The survivors distrusted one another, hunting each other amid the collapse of order.
They called me the “Loophole Finder” because I could see the contradictions and gaps in those deadly rules.
They didn’t know that my confidence came from the New World Closed Beta Complaints Summary I’d filed away just last month.
Every vanished ID, every bizarre appeal that had been rejected, every strange case marked “Resolved”… I remembered them all.
While the game’s creator thought they had everything under control,
I sat amid the ruins of a world on the brink of collapse and submitted the final ticket, No. 001, to the System interface covering the entire world:
“Subject: Multiple logical flaws and serious security risks in the operating rules of New World.”
“Evidence: An analysis report documenting 327 verified loopholes and conflicting clauses.”
“Request: Fix them immediately.”
“Otherwise, under Section 7.3 of the User Experience Agreement, I reserve the right to request a permanent shutdown.”
My specialty is optimizing processes, including optimizing this world, which is riddled with loopholes, right out of existence.
It's very compact and not procrastinating, but the last few chapters use the sentence "It's not xx, it's xx" too much.
