Siheyuan: Silly Zhu Is My Brother, So Who Do You Think You Are to Take Advantage of Him?

[Period drama + courtyard life + hot-tempered bro + turning the tables on parasites + Master Chef System]

After transmigrating to 1955, he becomes He Yubang, He Daqing's illegitimate son who grew up away from home.

From the start, he's facing hell difficulty: both parents are dead, it's the dead of winter, and five younger siblings are trailing behind him, hungry enough to chew tree bark!

To survive, He Yubang brings his whole family to Nanluoguxiang, where he catches Qin Huairu trying to wheedle Silly Zhu out of his lunchbox.

He Yubang flies into a rage: “That's my own brother! I'm the only one allowed to leech off him. Who do you think you are?”

Now that he's here, the courtyard's rules are going to change!

He activates the [Family Prosperity System]. As long as he takes good care of his younger siblings, he gets rewards!

Yi Zhonghai tries to guilt-trip him with morality? He fires off an express letter to Baoding and ruins his reputation!

Qin Huairu tries to play the victim and win sympathy? He throws a basin of foot water at her to bring her to her senses!

Jia Zhangshi tries to throw a fit? He chops a cleaver into the doorframe and asks whether his blade agrees!

Mini-scene:

When He Yubang uses his grandmaster-level Tan family cuisine to make the whole courtyard drool, Silly Zhu gets down on his knees, salivating, and begs to become his apprentice.

He Yubang pats Silly Zhu on the head. “Big brother, hand over your wages from now on, and the lunchboxes are mine. These nephews and nieces can look after you when you're old!”

Silly Zhu grins from ear to ear. “You got it! As long as the Jia family can't leech off me, I'll do whatever you say!”

Watching the He family's life get better and better, the courtyard's busybodies cower in the corner, trembling: This guy didn't come here to seek shelter. He came to clean us out!
