After Returning Home, I Made My Family's Secret Brew a Smash Hit

The day she was laid off, a call from home left her reeling: Grandma had broken her leg and was bedridden, and the century-old traditional rice wine shop was behind on rent and about to be sold! Lin Wan, a 28-year-old internet operations specialist, rushed back to her hometown overnight. Taking on the mess herself, she used modern ideas to revive the family craft: new packaging, short videos, and neighborhood tastings. The traditional rice wine won over the whole city with its familiar old-fashioned flavor!

She avoided price wars and melodramatic gimmicks, building a reputation through honesty. She teamed up with the old street's neighbors for collaborative products and markets, turning a shop on the verge of closing into a local model of intangible cultural heritage, while bringing the quiet old street back to life.

The warmth of a grandmother and granddaughter relying on each other, and neighbors working together to prosper: it turns out the best life isn't the exhausting 996 workweek in an office tower, but the aroma of rice wine at the old street corner and the everyday warmth of each passing year.
