A Male Consort's Rules for Surviving the Imperial Harem

If you ask who in the imperial harem is the worst person to cross, eight out of ten people will name the Noble Consort. With her stunning face and the emperor's favor, she charges through the palace as if she owns the place.

She doesn't just trample flowers underfoot, she even kicks dogs that happen to pass by. She's a truly loathsome, heaven-defying, realm-wrecking temptress.

The emperor may be wise, but when it comes to the Noble Consort, it's as if he's gone blind. His heart is so biased it's practically in another country.

Even with all that favor, the Noble Consort has gone years without bearing a child. Who wouldn't say that karma always comes around!!!!

I absolutely love the pairing of a silly beauty and a scheming black-hearted character. This is a sweet little story, so come and give it a try.

A few notes: 1. The gong isn't a playboy. I'll explain later. I'm firmly in the one-on-one camp.

2. The characters aren't both strong. The shou is silly and rather spoiled, and there will be jealousy and rivalry for affection, so read at your discretion.

3. This isn't a rules-horror story. The rules are Yuanyuan's diary or my own musings, written for fun. If you came here by mistake, feel free to click away.

Thanks, everyone. Writing isn't easy, so please go easy on me.
