In ancient times, sages sealed the spirits of the mountains and rivers of the Nine Provinces, the wisdom of the Hundred Schools, and secret arts inside nine "Mountains and Rivers Cauldrons" to suppress nine "dragon-vein fiendish sites" capable of bringing down the nation. Various forces, including a secret agency, heirs to the Hundred Schools, and foreign organizations, now struggle openly and covertly over the nine cauldrons.
