In cybernetic Siam, ruled by mechanical Buddhas and gears, the timid data-dust monk Charoen can see “colors” in data streams. He only wants to scrape by in his temple, until he eats a glowing piece of sticky rice cake and meets Rawiwan, a fox-blooded woman who deciphers coded messages by day and runs a street stall by night. Her pastries conceal altered history, while his eyes can devour wandering ghost data. Forced to join forces, the two set out to decode the truth through taste and fight the System by devouring it. Behind it all, a scientist uncle, reborn as king, is preparing to upload the entire dynasty and the souls of its people to the “Paradise Cloud” he meticulously created. Beneath neon-lit Buddhist towers, a data monk and a nine-tailed fox launch a journey against the current to reclaim the deleted past and a future spiraling out of control.
