Lin Feng woke up in a noisy train station. As his memories merged, he realized he had transmigrated to the Republican era and become a down-and-out young man who had just arrived in Renjia Town to seek help from a distant relative. Lin Feng was amazed by the priest's clean, efficient technique. The priest glanced at him, his sharp eyes seeming to see right through him. Just as Lin Feng grew nervous, his stomach chose that moment to rumble, breaking the tense silence. The priest frowned slightly and walked away, leaving only these words behind: “Boy, you've got a tough life. Stay away from the mass grave from now on.” Lin Feng couldn't make heads or tails of it, but he thought the man was rather interesting.
