The female lead’s mother, Qing Chan, once abandoned a son. This is fully developed in the story and is not a thoughtless character choice.
The female lead, Qing Yuan, may have several romantic storylines. The focus is on her growth, with no forced rivalry between women and no botched ending.
The romance may be a little sparse, so you might have to search for it between the lines, but it’s still very sweet.
There will probably be quite a lot of melodrama, but it will be properly set up rather than thrown in without warning.
Wang Po sells melons. A growth-oriented heroine story that is absolutely unconventional.
