Where's the Wife I Picked Up? What? She Turned into an Alpha!

[Double Alphas | Both powerful | Six-year age gap | Younger seme raises uke]

Luan Yue is the man who cares most about “the rules” in the Lower District.

People in the underworld laugh and call him a philanthropist, until he takes Yu Zhen in.

The boy is strikingly beautiful and full of secrets, and once he clings to Luan Yue, he won’t leave.

Luan Yue keeps his distance. “Alphas and Omegas should stay separate.”

Yu Zhen lowers his lashes. “I haven’t presented. My dad says people like me are monsters.”

Luan Yue is instantly furious. “What kind of father treats his kid like that? I’ll go have a word with him!”

Yu Zhen immediately hugs Luan Yue’s arm and softly calls him, “Dad.”

Luan Yue: …

Fine. I’ll raise him.

Luan Yue thinks he’s taken in a poor little thing, until an enemy comes to make trouble. Yu Zhen steps forward, and the troublemaker bows and scrapes, calling him “Young Master Yu.”

When Yu Zhen’s family comes looking for him, they seem respectable. Luan Yue thinks Yu Zhen has lied to him, so he sends him back.

But not even two days later, Yu Zhen runs back on his own, covered in bruises, claiming he was beaten.

Luan Yue only finds out later that Yu Zhen inflicted those wounds on himself.

Luan Yue is furious and drags him back to the Yu family’s front gate.

But when he sees Yu Zhen being shoved inside, his eyes red-rimmed, and the cold stares of the family waiting within…

A few days later, Luan Yue storms into the Yu home with his brothers and takes him back.

When Yu Zhen turns sixteen, he says he wants to study abroad.

Luan Yue thinks, So what if he never presents? He can be a Beta. I can protect him for the rest of his life.

A few years later, Yu Zhen returns to the country and releases pheromones so powerful they crush everything before them.

Luan Yue is stunned.

Wait… I thought I was raising a wife. How did he turn into a top-tier Alpha?!

“Hold on, don’t come any closer… I don’t want an Alpha for a wife!”
