The late Ming Dynasty was a time of chaos, with wars raging all over the sky. Five little people with different identities, Lu Chuan, Hua Xiaoman, Xiao Shisan, Wang Sangou, and Bai Qiuyan, travel together because of a misunderstanding. They are witty and funny, playing tricks on fate, and use kindness, humor and wit to resolve crises amid turmoil in the court, vying for supremacy between powerful factions, and wars. There are twists and turns along the way, everyone has their own thoughts, and they interpret warmth, joy and sorrow and growth between life and death, love and hate, misunderstanding and trust. When the dust settles, everyone finds their own value and meaning amidst countless hardships and jokes. A simple life, a small love, and a laughable relationship with the ups and downs, blooming their own fireworks in the mighty era.
