Lin Dongdong happens upon a peculiar lamp with energy on the level of the Six Realms, and from then on gets swept into conflicts among all manner of spirit clans, powerful figures, and demons. In this farcical adventure, Lin Dongdong travels with the lazy dried fish Xiao Li, meets the fugitive girl Lü Yudie and his mysterious martial uncle Luo Shiba, and uses his wits to win and his humor to turn enemies into allies as he challenges a labyrinth of the Six Realms woven from power, desire, and fate. Witty dialogue and wonderfully amusing encounters keep the story moving at a brisk pace. Its three volumes each feature a self-contained adventure while gradually unveiling the fate of the Six Realms. In the end, Lin Dongdong uses his intelligence to unravel the lamp's mysteries, and the Six Realms fade away with a smile as the story comes to a cheerful and satisfying close.
