Wang Ye, the "incomplete disciple" who was looked down upon in the Qingxu Temple, stumbled across the mysterious ancient book "Recitation of Alchemy Sutra" from the bricks of the library. After seven years of forbearance and three thousand days and nights, he refined his nails into elixirs, repaired his incomplete body, and embarked on the path of counterattack through practice. From then on, he left the mountain gate and entered the mortal world holding the evil-killing sword and holding on to the Dharma.
From catching ghosts and solving crimes in Ping'an County, to annihilating the Netherworld Sect in Black Wind Mountain; from fighting the powerful official Li Jingzhong in the capital, to circling the immortal cultivating family in the south of the Yangtze River; from southern Xinjiang to conquering the Wushen Sect, and to frightening the Tang Sect in the middle of Sichuan. He experienced life and death, killed evil spirits, formed good relationships, refined five-color pythons into thought Gu, and merged with the masters of hundreds of schools to realize the way of swordsmanship.
Use "thought" as the seed and fight to nourish the elixir. In the final showdown, he faced the old monster Nascent Soul at the Tiantian Sacrifice, burned his origin, broke through the desperate situation, condensed the Nian Dan, killed his enemy Li Jingzhong, and ended the blood feud. After finishing his work, he brushed off his clothes and settled down in Kunlun, watching the clouds roll and relax, waiting for the next storm in the world.
This is a story about tolerance, revenge and detachment. It tells how a young man walked the most difficult and dangerous road with the most incomplete body, held on to the most righteous thoughts, and finally saw himself, all sentient beings, and the world.
