When the Hunting Dog Falls for Its Prey

(Animal story + amusing early chapters + mild angst + fate)

A hunting dog chases a she-wolf, but danger strikes along the way, and the prey it was pursuing ends up saving it.

Gazing at the she-wolf, it no longer feels the urge to hunt. Affection and longing take root in its heart.

At the same time, a scarred male wolf with an old wound on his right cheek has long admired the she-wolf.

The hunting dog Brown Quartz and the male wolf Little Green Leaf make a pact: in three months, they will settle things in a contest. The winner will get to stay by the side of the she-wolf Blue in the Clouds...

Watching all this, the hunter slowly smiles...
