Genshin Impact: Fate

Genshin Impact officially released the "Footprints" PV, but players noticed that the screen glitched several times.

At first, they thought the official team had failed to review the video properly. Then, the next day, a blogger from a simulated-horror channel found hidden frames in it.

...Time cannot be trusted.

...Mayflies are invading.

...The projection has been affected... bzzzt...

"Suiyang's story is still unfolding. Let them build their own Teyvat."

A few warnings up front, in my meek and mild version: Slow burn, with a complete outline. I'll do my best to keep everyone in character. The characters' emotional changes have foreshadowing and buildup, so read carefully... otherwise, I'm afraid you'll curse me, sob. The author is busy with real life, so updates will come when they come, but I absolutely will not abandon the story.

The most awesome version: Slow burn, with deeply hidden foreshadowing. Details that seem unrelated early on will all explode into climactic moments later. I recommend reading carefully, or you may miss the central subplot. The outline is complete, and I absolutely will not abandon the story.
