The red mist swept across the world, biological distortions occurred, and technological civilization collapsed. A college student {Gu Xun} took refuge in the library by chance and accidentally awakened to the Fire Code - which can collect all the knowledge of human civilization and reproduce it into physical objects. From an ordinary young man who was afraid of mutant rats, to treating the wounded by reproducing antibiotics from the Codex, building generators to light up ruins, and developing laser weapons to tear apart the defense lines of alien beasts, Gu Xun transformed step by step. He gathered the survivors and rebuilt his home in the wasteland, but he encountered an army of mutants who believed in the law of the jungle. One side protects the fire of civilization, while the other attempts to devour human beings. In a desperate situation, Gu Xun uses the code as a sword and faith as a shield to lead the remaining humans and play a war hymn for the survival of civilization.
