Lin Mu, an ordinary "migrant worker" in the city, has a lot of excitement on the road where dreams and reality collide, emotions and friendship are intertwined. He and a group of various friends pursue their hopes in the big city: the pursuit of dreaming of becoming a writer, the overt and covert struggles in the workplace, the pull of family and relationships, self-doubt and the frustration and joy of growing up, forming a picture of ups and downs of urban life. Everyone has their own confusions and goals. Everyone moves forward together in laughter, and ultimately gains growth and reconciliation with mutual encouragement and support.
