In the 1990s when Northeastern industry was in decline, Jiangcheng was swept by a wave of layoffs. A group of people abandoned by the times struggled to survive. Lin Haifeng was once an advanced worker in a steel factory, but a layoff notice pushed him into the abyss. In order to raise medical expenses for his seriously ill daughter, he was forced to step into the gray area. From an ordinary driver, he gradually became involved in bloody disputes in the underground world.
