Rookie agent Lin Che joins the Intelligence Bureau by mistake. She studies under the guidance of the genius mentor Song Jin, and partners with her best friend Zhuo Hai, growing up in self-deprecation and complaints along the way. The three were involved in a transnational criminal conspiracy headed by "Mad Dog" Louis, and gradually revealed the true identity of the enemy in desperate situations and crises. Lin Che mediates between life and death through constant humor and self-deprecation and adapting to the situation. After experiencing trust, betrayal and self-breakthrough, she finally breaks through. There are three volumes in the book, which progress layer by layer. Each volume has an independent main line but is also interconnected. The ending interprets growth and choice between humor and passion.
