[Strong country girl veterinarian VS a disabled senior officer who reads too much into everything + raising kids in reverse + hilarious mutual flirting]
For the sake of an urban residency permit, Su Hongzao barges into a military compound with a snakeskin sack on her back and takes a job as a nanny for Lu Yunzheng, the notoriously impossible-to-please “Living Yama.”
Lu Yunzheng is paralyzed in both legs, gloomy and violent. His fiancée has broken off their engagement and humiliated him, while the orphaned son of a fallen comrade, Xiao Shitou, has grown sickly and thin under his care.
The first thing Su Hongzao does after entering the house is throw out the hysterical fiancée. Then she stares at Lu Yunzheng's legs, her eyes shining. “This muscle wasting is just like that lazy donkey in our village. You need a massage! You need treatment!”
Lu Yunzheng assumes she's an admirer of heroes, enduring humiliation for the sake of love.
Little does he know that Su Hongzao is frantically taking notes in a little notebook:
“The employer is picky about food. That just means he's not hungry enough. Skip two meals and he'll be fine.”
“For leg massages, use the technique from postpartum sow care. If the circulation flows, the pain goes.”
Lu Yunzheng tries to protest by refusing to eat? She takes the wheels off his wheelchair with her bare hands!
Someone dares to come and humiliate him? She throws a basin of foot-washing water at them, chilling them to the bone!
Then one night, Lu Yunzheng feels his legs again. He pins Su Hongzao against a corner just as she is about to loosen his muscles. His eyes are bloodshot at the corners, and his voice is hoarse.
“Hongzao, how about we try a different treatment this time?”
Calmly, Su Hongzao presses her stethoscope against his burning chest. Her gaze is clear and innocent.
“Don't be silly, Officer. This heartbeat... it sounds like you're in heat.”
After reading the content of the story, I still want to read it. It really captures the scenes of that era. Anyone who has lived through that era knows that there was not enough food to eat and everything had to be paid for. It makes me sad just thinking about it! The plot of the story is true, because the country was poor at that time! The author's writing is so good, it deserves to be praised 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
It's okay. There's no big plot, but the emotions flow slowly. Some details can't be scrutinized. People often don't know which era the writing is from. I hope it can be more rigorous in the future. The writing style is still there and it's quite smooth.
I've read a few chapters, it's pretty good
It's my favorite article. I have to rate it first. I just found it before going to bed. It's so funny that I couldn't even fall asleep after reading it. I want to keep reading it.
It's been a long time since I've seen such a good and funny novel. Thank you very much to the author for writing such a good novel.
Well, the content is very good. I like the title of the book very much. Why is this so?
The heroine has an interesting character, the male protagonist is treated like an animal, and the interactions are a bit funny. You can watch it to pass the time.
Not bad, but the appearance of pigs, cows, sheep and donkeys is too high. It's still very good-looking. The author is awesome [send my heart][learned][send my heart][learned][send my heart][learned]
