The story tells the story of young Fernando who became a pirate for some reason, led the Black Flagship team to kill in the adventure world, and repeatedly saved the day by laughing and scolding. As their power expands, the team becomes involved in the power game of the pirate king Barlow. Malena, Oscar, Lily and the mysterious explorer Bacchus each show off their talents, and humorous interactions run throughout. The three volumes respectively revolve around the rise of the Black Flagship, the struggle for maritime hegemony, and the construction of the final port of freedom, revealing the pirates' growth, friendship, and understanding of true freedom. The climax of the story is when Fernando outsmarts Barlow and the royal family, and writes the final chapter in the broken ocean world.
