In an imaginary China where wars are raging and dynasties are constantly changing, a group of little people from the market: Lin Ergou, Hua Manlou, Xu Zhiruo, Chen Xiaocui and Fatty Sun, unexpectedly get together because of their respective circumstances. Caught between power, desire and survival, they rely on humor, wisdom and innocent friendship to find their own value on a journey intertwined with jokes and crises. Faced with the rise of the powerful enemy Wei Yidao and the entangled forces of all parties, they fled, grew up, and actively participated in the game of troubled times. In the end, they changed the outcome of troubled times in an unexpected and humorous way. The three volumes respectively tell the story of the initial exploration of troubled times, the turmoil of chaos, and the little people and big heroes. The story is logically compact and the plot is ups and downs, but it still maintains humor and a sense of life.
