Gu Fei works for an "abnormal insurance" company, specializing in assessing claims for bizarre events such as "the body was taken away by a time traveler", "sequelae of rebirth", "revival of spiritual energy causes pets to speak". He relies on his rigorous (and imaginative) "Abnormal Event Determination Manual" to deal with all kinds of strange customers. Until he investigated a "time loop claim case", he discovered that the details of each investigation were subtly different - he was in a higher-level time loop specifically for himself.
