Grievance Exorcist

A chance encounter sent Lin Zhenyu plunging into a blood-red world.

There, he was forced to undergo an extraordinary trial.

When it was over, he became the ruler of the Asura Realm and gained the ability to subdue resentful spirits.

But to subdue them, he had to feel the pain they had suffered in life.

Though the experience was agonizing, it also stirred empathy in spirits still bound by their obsessions.

"Lin, since you've felt it for yourself, I'll believe you. So what if I go back and walk the human world once more?"

"Young Master Lin, thanks to your help, I finally realized that I never considered what my little brother wanted."

"Brother Lin, thank you so much. If it weren't for you, I might have spent the rest of my life trapped in this tiny place!"

"Little Brother Lin..."

"Big Brother Lin..."

Through one cycle of life and death after another, Lin Zhenyu's worldview began to change, little by little.

"So... my duty isn't to eliminate resentful spirits, but to... free them from their resentment..."

The setting is entirely fictional. Any similarities are purely coincidental.

A slow burn, but it gets better and better as the story goes on!!!

My writing is still rough, so please bear with me. If you have any feedback, feel free to leave it in the comments!!!
