[Strong Female Lead] + [No Romance] + [Lovecraftian Cultivation]
Gao Xing was sold by her father to a rich man she'd never met, to become his concubine.
With nowhere else to turn, she went to a mass grave and struck a bargain with a wild ghost.
The inhuman old woman gave her two things:
A “longevity seed” that survives by sucking the life force from people,
and an old soul banner that demands a hundred living souls every three months.
Armed with these two sinister objects, Gao Xing returned to her village.
She broke her father's bones and took back the money he'd received for selling her.
From then on, the world had one less unfortunate woman,
and one more wandering soul fighting for her life between black and white.
And the thing buried in the grave, the one that lent her its power, is waiting for the day she... fattens it up.
