Wang Shuyi is reborn on the night before she was drowned and impulsively marries Yang Haowen, the third young master of the Yang family, who is rumored to have less than a year to live. On their wedding night, she catches him lifting a barbell with one hand. The sickly man in the wheelchair was all an act. He spent three years in a wheelchair waiting for someone who could see through his disguise. When his former flame begs him to take her back, Wang Shuyi smiles and takes the powerful man’s arm. “Look carefully. You should be calling me Third Aunt now.” He takes off his glasses and wipes away the “blood.” “Ayi, it’s time to renew our contract, for this lifetime.” This drama-loving couple is still acting out their parts today. This show will never wrap.
