Trade Death Gu for Life

Heaven and earth gave birth to Gu; Gu devour the people, and anyone can be made to host one, no matter their age. Abandon it, and you die.

The Gu of this world eat no grain and drink no spring water. They hunger only for the living: they drain blood and essence, consume lifespans, gnaw at flesh, and swallow souls.

Blood sacrifice is needed to activate them, and lives must be fed to help them advance. From first rank to ninth, every step is a road of blood, every level paved with bones.

Ling He began as a child in a desolate village, feeding Gu with blood and gambling his life for survival.

He gouged out eyes to offer to Gu, severed limbs to feed them, and slaughtered cities in sacrifice. He paved his path with countless bones and nourished his natal Gu with boundless bloodshed.

The world called him a Gu demon and hated his murderous ways, never knowing that in this hell where Gu devoured humanity,

only by wielding death Gu as a blade and using flesh and blood as fuel could one seize a sliver of hope and command the power of Gu for a lifetime.

Born to feed Gu, destined to be devoured by Gu. If Heaven and earth show no mercy, then use Gu to slay Heaven!

Trade death Gu for eternal life, and build the Gu Venerable's throne with bones!
