A strange town in a rift in time and space, with neon lights and old signs hanging side by side, and rickshaws and trams running side by side. Goudao detective Lin Mo opened an office here, relying on the unstable "Eye of Time and Space Rift" system to handle bizarre commissions from fragments of different eras. A case of harassment by the undead of Anti-Japanese War soldiers involves him with the mysterious undertaker Su Wan, the awakened NPC newsboy, and the "Time Judge", a corrector from the future who intends to erase "wrong history". Pursuing the truth in the chaotic fragments of time and space, Lin Mo gradually discovered that the town itself was a civilian epic that was torn apart by war and forcibly preserved by unknown people at the cost of their lives. He must make a choice: continue to hide in the cracks and remain safe, or take the risk of connecting to the main time and space and let those forgotten glimmers of light see the light of day again.
