Doomsday Era Reality Show: My Script Doesn't Seem Right

After retiring from the special forces, I joined an immersive global livestream reality show called “Apocalypse Era.”

But a real apocalyptic crisis, global supernatural awakenings and an invasion from another dimension, quietly descended in sync with the “show.”

Watching the “zombies” break through the door, I turned to the hidden camera and made a serious suggestion: “Could you get more professional extras? That fake blood is way too sugary.”

I modified a rice cooker into a steam cannon, set up a sound-wave array with dance-exercise speakers, turned my neighborhood into a monster graveyard, and still found time to livestream a tutorial: “A few home-security tips. Production crew, remember to blur this.”

(Later... I realized my “script” was getting more and more off track.)
