Survivalist Fisherman: My Rejected Childhood Fiancée Pursues Me and Becomes My Maid

A feel-good fishing story set in the 1980s, with a golden finger: perfect for a motion-comic adaptation.

Reborn in the 1980s, Jiang Ye goes from an indebted layabout despised by the entire village to an ocean hunter with Bear Grylls-level survival skills and a sea-king’s X-ray vision! From the start, he takes on a local bully who is after his debts, dives into shark-infested waters to hunt giant yellow croakers on the verge of extinction, and makes his first fortune in just three days, giving face-slapping payback to his fiancée, who abandoned him when everyone turned against him. He survives on a deserted island and tears apart a gang of dynamite fishermen, takes on a three-hundred-jin giant grouper, and reels in bluefin tuna offshore during a red tide crisis. Using his X-ray vision to expose corruption in the local government, he brings down the village chief, helps the whole village get rich raising eel fry, and builds the thousand-ton Sea God to take on foreign fishing boats and blast whaling poachers! His childhood betrothed goes from looking down on him to falling for him and chasing after him, bringing the romantic rivalry to a fever pitch. He ventures to treasure islands and explores deep-sea shipwrecks, claims centuries-old treasures, and expands his offshore fishing grounds. From a poor fishing-village boy to chairman of a fishing conglomerate, he makes the ocean his domain and fishing his weapon, turns the 1980s ocean world upside down with sheer skill, amasses a fortune, and becomes the true overlord of the sea!
