A word of warning before you read: This is a novice author’s first attempt, inspired by superhero comics and some live-action tokusatsu shows I’ve seen. The story moves at a slow pace and isn’t a power fantasy. It has a female lead, features only a small number of Kamen Riders and forms, and doesn’t use the Reiwa-era form system.

Synopsis: In the modern metropolis of Duanchui, where urban legends abound, high school student Bai Yu Xuehui suddenly receives a package from her long-lost older brother. Inside is a strange metal device, the Forging Driver, which leaves her confused and unsettled. Before Xuehui can make sense of it, an unknown monster called “Pilgrim” is already closing in. Meanwhile, 18-year-old Hui Zhongcang returns to his hometown of Duanchui alone, weighed down by uncertainty. By chance, he crosses paths with Bai Yu Xuehui, and the two are attacked by a monster. In their moment of peril, Hui Zhongcang uses the Forging Driver. Wrapped in lightning, the purple-black Kamen Rider Titan is born…
